Construction of new Coca-Cola plant to start in April in Kazakhstan

Turkish company Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş. is set to begin construction of its fourth soft drink plant in Kazakhstan, worth roughly $84 million, in April. The facility is scheduled to start operations in 2027, according to the Aktobe regional administration. Coca-Cola İçecek Kazakhstan representative Veli Dinçel discussed the project’s implementation stages with Aktobe region Gov. Askhat Shakharov. The plant’s annual capacity is expected to reach

280 million liters of soft drinks, with commissioning planned for 2027. A 25-hectare land plot has been allocated for the facility, and design and preparatory work are currently underway. The plant is expected to create 150 jobs. The government previously approved an investment agreement to establish a new soft drink plant in the Aktobe region. The project is being

implemented by Coca-Cola Almaty Bottlers, which is owned by the Dutch company CCI International Holland and the Turkish company Coca-Cola İçecek Anonim. It is part of the Turkish group Coca-Cola İçecek, which operates 36 factories in 12 countries, three of which are in Kazakhstan — in Almaty, Astana and Shymkent. The most recent plant, in Shymkent, was launched in 2024 and cost approximately $53.6
